Austin Web Design | High-Converting Websites for Small Businesses
Is your website just sitting there like a digital billboard? At Blue Armadillo, we design websites that not only turn heads but also drive action—attracting, engaging, and converting visitors into loyal customers. You’ll feel proud of your website because it reflects who you are and makes a statement about what your business is.
We customize every website to align with your brand and business goals.
Our designs focus on one thing—getting results for your business.
Your website will be fast, responsive, and work seamlessly across all devices.
Your site is designed to perform well on search engines from day one.
We understand that each client has different needs for their web presence. We don’t pigeon-hole you into a template that doesn’t work for your business. Rather, we communicate with you to understand what’s not working with your current site, or what you desire for a brand new site. Then we not only research your competitors’ websites, we use sophisticated tools to analyze their traffic, keyword rankings, and SEO performance. We prepare a go-forward strategy that works for your budget and long-term priorities.
We are pro-active and get directly involved in every project no matter how small it is. We realize that we are in this together and we don’t succeed until you succeed. For this reason you could consider us as you in-house web designer, because that’s what a true partnership is all about.
We start by learning about your business, your vision, and your objectives for your website. We’ll ask a lot of questions, and proactively communicate to ensure we’re both on the same page.
Following the initial consultation we prepare a proposal that meets the requirements discussed in the consultation.
The next meeting is to review our research, present our go-forward strategy along with a rough design for your company. This may be one of the single-most important strategy sessions in the process as the outcome drives the final design.
With the results of the Design and Strategy Meeting. our team builds out the site. We ensure SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) are integral to the overall build.
Get your first peek at your new website and are encouraged to speak out about what you like and dislike.
Back at the “ranch”…
It’s time to finish the build and get it ready to launch.
Where your site is hosted is important as hosting providers have pluses and minuses. We want to ensure your hosting provider can support your needs long-term.
Then there’s things like “Citations”, “Backlinks”, “Referral Sites” and other tech stuff that’s required for tracking performance and conversions.
Once you approve the final revision, you’re ready to publish your site. This is an exciting moment, kinda like the day you started your business.
With years of experience in digital marketing and web development, we understand the unique challenges small businesses face, things like cash flow, minimizing expenses, preserving capital. That’s why we created Blue Armadillo. Your website shouldn’t break the bank.
At Blue Armadillo, our focus is on how to drive new customers to your website, and then convert them into customers.
We listen, we create, and we deliver results so that you can put your energy into running your business.
You can certainly create a website for yourself using GoDaddy, WIX, or SquareSpace. If that meets your needs, then it’s a great solution – cheap, easy, and convenient. Unless you know about SEO, CRO, and other back end techie stuff, you may not get the results you want, but at least you’ll have a website.
One other thing about DIY sites, many of these companies charge you monthly. It’s kind of like a lease and if you stop paying, you lose the site, because you do not own it.
A typical 5 page site runs about $3,750, while a 20 page site will average $10,000. This is for development and consulting. Additional fees are associated with plug-ins, hosting and subscriptions. These vary by client, so we can’t always price them on day one, but we can “ball-park” them and communicate with you before we commit you to additional fees.
An entire project can take as little as 2 weeks and as much as 9 weeks. The time line depends on the scope of the site and what you need. For instance, a site for a professional doesn’t normally require e-commerce, so it’s on the shorter end, whereas a business that conducts commerce on-line only is on the longer end.
In addition to development fees, there are annual and monthly fees for things like hosting, domain management, performance monitoring, security, on-going SEO work, etc. During our strategy sessions we present these to you so that you can plan and budget for them.
We also have a monthly support plan to allow for changes, edits, and updates to your site that you will experience as things change in your business. This way you don’t have to pay an hourly rate when those changes come up.
This is the easy part. Call, email, or text us to get started. It costs you nothing for our initial phone consultation, and you’ll get a lot of useful information about website design, hosting, and collateral services.
